What we do

We provide honest guidance on cannabis so that leaders can make informed decisions for the people they serve.

Our goals

Promote informed, meaningful discussion about cannabis in Alabama

Through workshops, seminars and public forums we educate community leaders, politicians and the public on cannabis so that decisions get made with the facts on the table. We advocate for knowledge and for data-driven approaches, which lets our community navigate cannabis legislation responsibly rather than reactively.

The point is to turn bold ideas into progress that actually lands.

Who we work with

Four groups, four different conversations

Business owners

Retail, CBD, hemp and vape operators who need to know what is legal to stock, how to document compliance, and where the regulatory line currently sits. We have run these stores ourselves, so the advice comes from having made the decisions.

Local governments

Councils and commissions writing ordinances that will outlast the people who wrote them. We bring the market data, the enforcement costs and the experience of other states so that the ordinance is built on something.

Law enforcement

Departments dealing with hemp-derived products that look and smell identical to cannabis. Understanding what is federally compliant and what is not saves officers time and saves departments from bad arrests.

Private groups

Advocacy organizations, industry associations and community groups that want to argue their case with evidence instead of anecdote.

Our values

Transparency, integrity, education

Those three words get used loosely. Here is what they cost us in practice.

We cite everything

Every figure we publish carries its source. If you want to check our work, we would rather you did.

We will tell you when we cannot help

Some questions belong with an attorney, not a consultant. We will say so rather than invoice you for a guess.

Safety comes before the argument

Age restrictions, ingredient transparency and keeping products away from children are not concessions we make to opponents. They are part of the position.
